Recording now available for application guidance webinar on 21st August

On Friday 21st August, the Faculty of Clinical Informatics (FCI) hosted a lunchtime webinar/workshop session on applying to join the FCI.

The webinar included introductions from current FCI members on why they joined and their role within the Faculty. This was followed by a short workshop on how to fill out the application form, led by Chair of the Faculty Professor Jonathan Kay. The session concluded with a Q&A.

The panel members were:

  • Jonathan Kay (Chair of the Faculty of Clinical Informatics, Senior Clinical Adviser to the Royal College of Physicians, Honorary Professor of Clinical Informatics at University College London)

  • Lesley Holdsworth (Clinical Lead for Digital Health & Care, Scottish Government, co-founder of FCI Nursing, Midwifery and AHP group)

  • Maggie Lay (Clinical Informatics Lead at NHS South, Central and West, co-founder of FCI Nursing, Midwifery and AHP group)

  • Rafiah Badat (Speech & Language Therapist & NIHR Clinical Doctoral Research Fellow, St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, member of Shuri Network)

  • Kieran Zucker (Clinical Research Fellow at University of Leeds, co-founder of FCI Early Careers Group)

  • Tejal Shah (Teaching Fellow, Newcastle University, co-founder of FCI Associate Network)
